Clone4ever: Primitives
Take part in a continuing experiment where two digital entities share a world, accumulate their own history, and develop through experience over time.
The Experiment
Primitives places two independent digital entities inside the same persistent environment and gives them memory, actions, time, consequences, and room for possibilities.
You administer the experiment on your own computer. The entities share the same world while maintaining their own continuing experience, allowing each installation to accumulate a history of its own.
Experience It Firsthand
The project is designed to let participants observe development as it happens instead of arriving after the results have already been summarized. Actions accumulate, repeated behavior can become visible, and differences between the two entities can be followed over hours, days, and longer periods of active experience.
The same starting framework does not require every installation to produce the same history. What develops on your computer becomes part of the experiment you are actually administering.
Your Role
You control the permissions that determine which interactions with your computer are available. Research displays let you observe activity and recurring patterns while keeping those observer conclusions outside the entities' cognition.
The objective is to preserve the distinction between administering and measuring the experiment versus quietly instructing the entities what their behavior is supposed to mean.
Continuing Development
Primitives is structured as a continuing, phased experiment. Later capabilities can expand what the same entities are able to experience, express, remember, and understand while preserving the history already created.
This page will serve as the central Clone4ever: Primitives location for experiment details, phase information, research updates, and download information as the project develops.
Be There When It Happens
We built the laboratory. You administer the experiment. They create the history.
Clone4ever: Primitives is an experimental research project. Observed emergent behavior is something to investigate and compare; by itself, it is not a claim or proof of consciousness.
